Late Arrivals and Cancellations
To prevent long wait times, appointments more than 15 minutes late will be rescheduled. Please call ahead and provide an estimated time of arrival to avoid rescheduling.
To cancel an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours advance notice. Groups, wedding parties and extension services are subject to individual cancellation fees outlined in a contract.
Missed appointment time blocks cannot be filled without prior notice. As a courtesy to our team members and our clients, please call ahead to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Without prior notice, no-show fees will apply.
Cortello Salon typically provides a courtesy confirmation two to three business days prior to an appointment in the form of a phone call or text message. However, if you do not receive a confirmation, please understand it is still your responsibility to show up for an appointment.
Unless scheduled for an appointment, please do not bring children. Heating appliances, sharp objects, and hazardous chemicals present a danger to unattended children. Children under the age of 11 scheduled for an appointment must have a parent or guardian present.
While greatly appreciated, gratuity is not required for our stylists or assistants. However, parties of 4 or larger will be charged an 18% gratuity.
Returned checks will result in a $25.00 service charge in addition to the principal, and must be paid before any other services can be rendered.
Walk-in customers are always welcome. However, we recommend that you call ahead to avoid a waiting period. In addition, some services and treatments require an appointment.
New customers, rest assured that any hair stylist at Cortello is a professional stylist. Cortello’s stylists are held to a higher standard. All of Cortello’s stylists complete an apprenticeship and undergo intense internal training before they are allowed to see clients.
Service Quotes and Consultations
Estimates provided by receptionists are subject to change. Prices may vary depending on the individual stylist, coloring technique, amount of time, length of hair, and amount of product used to create the desired effect.
First-time clients seeking a new look are encouraged to schedule a complimentary consultation prior to service. All hair services are priced individually. Therefore, we recommend clients request a price quote from the individual stylist during the consultation.
Corrective color refers to any dramatic color change or balancing.
Corrective color may require more than one service or appointment to achieve desired results. Corrective color services cannot be quoted over the phone. Please schedule a complimentary consultation to receive a quote and schedule an appointment.
Returns and Exchanges
Products may be returned within 2 weeks of purchase for a retail store credit or exchange.
Client satisfaction and feedback are extremely important to us! We believe that communication with our clients is essential to providing excellent customer service. If you are not completely satisfied with your service, please return within one week to receive a corrective service free of charge.
